Plot Synopsis:
“The Great Gatsby, third novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, published in 1925 by Charles Scribner’s Sons. Set in Jazz Age New York, the novel tells the tragic story of Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, and his pursuit of Daisy Buchanan, a wealthy young woman whom he loved in his youth. Unsuccessful upon publication, the book is now considered a classic of American fiction and has often been called the Great American Novel.”

Plot Synopsis:
“Of Mice and Men, novella by John Steinbeck, published in 1937. The tragic story, given poignancy by its objective narrative, is about the complex bond between two migrant labourers. The book was adapted by Steinbeck into a three-act play (produced 1937). It was adapted for
television three times, including a Turkish-language version, and for motion pictures twice (1939 and 1992).”

Graduating Seniors will be recognized with three levels of honors:

1.  Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honors): 

  • 4.00 or higher weighted GPA;
  • Red and Black Cords

2.  Magna Cum Laude: 

  • 3.85 or higher weighted GPA;
  • does not meet Summa criteria
  • Red Cords

3.  Cum Laude: 

  • 3.5 or higher weighted GPA;
  • does not meet Magna or Summa criteria;
  • Black Cords

attention car riders and bus riders

Attention Car Riders and Bus Riders:

Car riders will get dropped off in front of school, walk through side gates, and remain in the courtyard until school starts.  

Car riders will exit cars immediately upon arrival and move to the courtyard. 

Bus riders will move directly from bus ramp to courtyard and remain in that location until school starts.
